The Huon Valley as you enter Grove, on the right you can experience the Apple Museum very interesting stop. Experience the old world of apple picking, machines and their extensive craft store.

On the left call in for a wine tasting at Panorama wines

Entering Huonville on the left opposite Woolworth's, there are gifts and more. Just before the bridge make a short turn to the left to the "Huon Jet Boat Centre" here you can received a thrill of a lifetime zapping up the Huon River, have your photo taken and purchase a video of your trip and the surrounding  area. Over the bridge and 8km on to Lovely Franklin.

Franklin offers craft shops, antique shops and wood turners, ship building  and restaurants.

Wooden Boat centre, world renowned for their boat building. The living Boat Centre, Arts and Treasures, Franklin has many different eating places. Counter meals to a la carte.     We are licensed so you can have a drink and you don't have to worry about the drive home.
 
Continuing south you will pass many craft shops and little coffee nooks. 
     Tahune Forest Airwalk Turn right to Tahune Forest Airwalk - grab a panoramic view from above the treetops, also visit the big tree and the fern lookout along the way.

Geeveston has a wonder discovery "The Design Centre" where many gifted people have set up shop inside the complex it is a must see experience.

Geeveston has a Forest and Heritage Centre - experience the history of our forests.
The town offers lovely old buildings and Wood Sculptured statues.

  Bernie TarrBernie Tarr sculpture

Thursday 8th April 2004 Premier Paul Lennon officially unveiled the latest Bernie Tarr (above left) sculpture in Geeveston. The sculpture is of Simon Burgess, Simon is representing Tasmanian in the Olympic rowing team. Bernie stated Simon is the only living person who has been sculptured.

Back on the main road continuing south to Dover, The Thermal Springs and Hastings Caves, Dolomite Caves and forest walks, Ida Bay Bush Railway at Lune River - a 7klm preserved railway that meanders through bush land along the waters edge to a safe secluded beach.
